I was recently contacted by the Hillingdon Aids Response Trust. Otherwise know as HART to make a donation of one of our chocolate shoes for raising some money for people living with AIDS at their fundraising event on Thursday 29th May 2014. We sent over the chocolate shoe which was received with a warm thank you by e-mail. Here is part of what was said in the e-mail.
Stunning, what a scrumptious prize for us.
I really appreciate your kindness and it has certainly caused a lot of interest to those who saw it!

Barclays have very kindly agreed to co-host the event with HART, and will be generously doubling all monies raised on the evening from entrance fees and sale of raffle tickets. If you are around, pop in. You might win our Chocolate Shoe prize!
The SPECIAL FUND is money that exists to help provide additional services and support for their HIV+ members, and is not used for staff or basic services but is used solely for special events, complimentary therapies and limited financial assistance for their service members.
The Fundraising quiz evening will form part of the events that Hart organises to both raise funds and awareness of issues around hiv/AIDS.
